Star Wars Games For Mac
It's a special game because you'll be able to play the story of Star Wars in LEGO style, with characters and the scenario built with LEGO pieces.
Each episode is divided into different chapters according to the films. In Lego Star Wars II you'll live stellar moments such as the battle of Obi Wan Kenobi Vs. Darth Vader, Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner, Luke's final confrontation with Emperor Palpatine or the destruction of Death Star.
Ride creatures and drive vehicles. Catch your Light Saber and destroy your enemies. Spread their pieces all around the scenary and complete your missions.
Each scenario hides a lot of surprises as mini-games. Don't loose the animated introductions exactly the same as the real ones but built with LEGO figures.
Mix the fun of LEGO structures and the magic of Star Wars and you'll get this amazing and funny game. May the forge go with you!

- 118 postsMemberI play it on my BootCamped Mac Pro, Window 7. Runs like smooth butter. But I also have a GeForce 970. Check the specs, it is pretty GPU intensive.

could you specify macbook specs / settings / framerate?
I did not expect any mac to be able to handle that well - 1034 postsMemberI haven`t played Battlefront on my MacBook Pro but I played clan matches in BF4 through Bootcamp. With that experience I would guess Battlefront would run smooth on normal settings.
I used the 15,3' MacBook Pro with 8 GB Ram and an integrated Geforce graphic card from early 2011. Also have the 2015 version MacBook Pro with 16 GB Ram and SSD, but I stopped pc gaming and entered the Console world so I haven`t tried BF4 on itPlaystation 4 funProud member of the 3PO community - 84 postsMemberPeople who buy macs deserve all the pain they get
- 473 postsMemberThere is a remote play feature coming soon to the ps4. So you would need a ps4, which you would forward to your Mac and then you could play from that, but it would all be dependent on your internet connections; both at home and wherever your Mac is.

Do you even know the difference between Parallels or BootCamp, LOL? BootCamp provides you with Windows running in a native environment on the Intel powered Macs. Parallels is not for gaming at all because every non OSX OS runs in a virtual environment which means you can switch between OS's instantly. Only recommended for non CPU/GPU intense usage.
I wouldn't recommend running SWBF on MacBook though due to the integrated graphics chips in most models. Even if you run it on the lowest settings it might not be fluent enough and the notebook will get really, really hot (it powers off automatically though before something is melting. ). Only the top notch 15' MacBook Pro from the most recent product line has a dedicated AMD Radeon R9 M370X card with 2 gigs of DDR5 RAM. - 583 postsMemberPeople who buy macs deserve all the pain they get

Apologies, I needed to be more specific. Mac Pro (Tower computer) not a MacBook Pro. As others have stated, you'll probably only be able to run it with minimal settings on the highest end MacBook Pros. You'll be able to Bootcamp up to Windows 10 on the newest, but it all comes down to GPU.People who buy macs deserve all the pain they get
Oh look, another troll thinking he/she is original by blurting out 'Macs suck, pc cool, herp derp.' Move along, peasant. - 937 postsMemberGeez, so many immature people here. Get over yourselves. The person was just asking a question. Dislike coming to forums like this.

really? hard to imagine - especially as it would make mouse use ubiquous (which would be ok for me but would kill all things balance ).
if that was serious: any link? - 473 postsMemberThere is a remote play feature coming soon to the ps4. So you would need a ps4, which you would forward to your Mac and then you could play from that, but it would all be dependent on your internet connections; both at home and wherever your Mac is.

It will run just fine on a MBP 15'. as I wrote I even played clan matches in Battlefield 4 on my 2011 MBP 15' 8GB - only had a little longer loading time for the maps than the PC:s (probably due to the minimal 8 GB), otherwise it was as smooth on standard 1440x900. Don`t recall Battlefront craving more than Battlefield 4, despite the superior graphics.Playstation 4 funProud member of the 3PO community - 118 postsMember

The pain of no viruses or malware. Yeah my life is totally blighted.
BTW. The OP will shortly be able to play BF on his Mac by streaming it from a PS4 using Remote Play once the next PS4 update hits. I'm looking forward to playing it on my MBP those times my wife insists on watching those insipid cooking or home renovation shows. - 84 postsMemberThe pain of no viruses or malware?
